La Torre Agrícola | Our History
The concern for Food safety of our family was what motivated us to start planting in Puerto Rico.
We began planting Guanábanas, Panapen, Rosemary, Recao and Cilantro trees in 2018, months after Hurricane María and the damage to Puerto Rico's agriculture was still notable.
Fruit trees such as: Guanábanas, Papaya, Pana and Avocados were our first crops. We used to say at that time: “In case of an emergency we live with Pana and Avocados.”
Then in 2019 we decided to plant for more people than our family. That's when we started planting Soursop, Panapen, Rosemary, Recao, Coriander, Basil, Oregano, Sunflower, Radish and Cabbage trees.
Without losing our focus, which is Food Security, we began to sow “Microgreens (Micro vegetables)“ such as: Sunflower microgreens, Radish microgreens and Cabbage microgreens.
For these reasons today we distribute Our Microgreens and other agricultural products to Healthy Food Stores, Hotels and Restaurants around La Isla Del Encanto.
Using the highest standards on our farms, “We grow what we are going to eat,” “If we can't eat it ourselves, we don't sell it to others,” “If it can't be on our family's plate, it can't be on our family's.” yours". Those are the laws of the estate.

La Torre Agrícola is a Puerto Rican agricultural company founded in 2019 that has a bonafide farmer certification..
All the farms we work with are registered in USDA and implement conservation practices with the help of NRCS.
The Agricultural Tower is made up of people who love agriculture and are committed to protecting natural resources, we use GMO-FREE seeds.
